Are cable knit tights warm?
Yes. The thick cable knit and wool blend trap heat, meaning Grannies are way warmer than your standard opaques. They are made exactly for cold snaps, frosty walks, and those freezing, draughty offices.
Are wool blend tights itchy?
Nope. Our Grannies are made from 52% Wool, 44% Polyamide (Nylon 66), 3% Elastane & 1% Cotton. You get all the heat of a warm wool blend without the scratchiness. They just feel soft and comfortable against your legs all day.
What size should I get?

How do you wash cable knit tights?
Always wash your Snags before first wearing them to remove residual dye. Wash your tights with similar colours as they may run. Tights and shorts can get caught in the drum of a washing machine, so either hand wash or place inside a pillow case or lingerie bag to protect them. Squeeze dry, don’t tumble dry, avoid direct heat as it degrades the stretch.
Is Kraken's Breath available in other deniers?
Yes. Kraken's Breath and Fancy Darkness also come in our 50 denier and 80 denier tights, for those days you just want the colour without the chunky knit.
